Hi everyone,
My name is Phill Norley, and I have the pleasure of being your Subject Coordinator for Module 6, where we’ll be exploring the Harmonized System for classifying goods and the classification process itself.
This is a core area of Customs studies with significant compliance implications, and it underpins the oversight and facilitation of the millions of goods that cross international borders every hour of every day.
We’ll begin with an online presentation to introduce the module on Tuesday 30 June, starting at 0700 hours (British Summer Time, UTC+1). This will take about an hour or just over so please put aside the time and find a quite space with good internet connectivity if possible.
I’m very much looking forward to meeting you all — or at least as many of you as can join the webinar.
I also encourage you to work through the accompanying course materials, which are designed to support your learning and prepare you for the end‑of‑module quiz.
