My name is Andy Badrick, coming to you all the way from New Zealand. The good news is — you’re now starting the final module of the course!
This module kicks off on Monday 7 September, with the Online Session scheduled for Tuesday 8th. I believe you have your Zoom invite, and access to the study guide.
We’ll be exploring some major drivers reshaping the Border Environment that are having a growing impact on Customs. Topics include:
- The continuing rise and impact of e-commerce
- The evolving expectations of “green customs”
- How disruptive technologies are reshaping Customs operations
- Long-standing challenges around integrity in Customs
While the topics may seem diverse, you’ll soon see how interconnected they are — and how much they build on what you’ve already covered in earlier modules. I will be looking forward to hearing how these topics impact on your area of the world.
